Tell Obama you’ve got Appalachia’s Back

Coal industry abuses have long comprised the waters of Central Appalachia. To date, more than 2,000 miles of streams have been buried by mountaintop removal alone. Slurry injections, dumping mine waste and filling mines with toxic coal ash make these problems worse.

Let the Obama administration know you’ve got Appalachia’s back.

The administration is considering several important rulemakings in the coming months that could change the health of the region forever.

The Obama administration promised 5 years ago to take measures to mitigate the dangerous impacts of mountaintop removal mining. We’re done waiting!
