Tell EPA that where you live shouldn’t determine whether you have access to clean water

In 2017 the Trump administration repealed the Stream Protection Rule, which would have protected waterways near surface coal mining operations like mountaintop-removal mines. This administration is trying to further weaken water protections that directly impact your drinking water.

Where you live shouldn’t determine if you have access to clean water. We should look for ways to improve protections. Instead, Trump’s proposed “Dirty Water Rule” would exacerbate this inequality by letting corporate special interests get away with polluting or destroying streams that many of us rely on to feed drinking water sources. Too many communities already face drinking water challenges– we can’t go backwards.
