PLEASE SAVE THE WILD HORSES AND BURROS FROM
ANY MORE ROUND-UPS FROM THE BLM !!!!

Americans love these wild animals, and they
should be free to live their lives.

BLM needs to have more of your support for
the wild horses and burros.

Thank you for having a kind heart.

Best,
Jacqueline Ryan

I can think of no more despicable practice than mountaintop coal mining. What does it say about our country that we literally destroy the earth and people who have lived in the Appalachians for generations for coal which can be mined in a less destructive way and provides good paying jobs? My first sight of a mountaintop mine was SHOCKING. The destruction can hardly be internalized. I would urge you to use the weight of your office to help end thie literal destruction of our mountains and people.

Despite this assurance, progress has been slow and Appalachian streams remain threatened.

Secretary Jewell has the ability to take immediate action and direct the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement to issue a long-overdue rule to prevent the dumping of coal mining waste into streams. We need Jewell to ensure that a strong standard is created and that it is fully implemented in Appalachia.
